The stores are packed full of products that claim to clear your clogs, but which one do you pick? We've got the answer for you: NONE!
Nearly all of the popular drain-cleaning products you find on the shelves contain acids which eat away at the pipes and cause rust. They also only partially dissolve the clog and push it down, which can lead to bigger backups.
Of course, the best way to avoid clogs is to be mindful of what you put in your drains and to use plenty of water when substantial waste is being flushed. If you experience a large clog, the most effective way to clear those is by running a snake through it. You can find snakes in stores or you can have us come out and work our magic.
